The Pittsburgh Chapter of the Business Marketing Association recently announced the finalists for the 2009 BizMark Awards, which includes four of LarsonO’Brien’s finest. Lisa Pierce, Jeff Miskis, Nick Murosky and Lauren Ban are each one of three finalists in their respective categories.

Lisa Pierce
Advertising Agency Employee of the Year

LEEP AP Lisa Pierce is more than just the Director of Continuing Education Services – essentially, she independently operates the continuing education component of LarsonO’Brien. In 2008, Lisa produced nearly 40 courses for the AIA/CES Continuing Education Program. Adding to her accomplishments, Lisa earned LEED AP distinction in March 2009.

Jeff Miskis
e-Marketer of the Year

As Interactive Director, Jeff aims to deliver creative e-marketing solutions that supplement PR initiatives and integrate with all agency efforts. During the past year, Jeff and his team developed Web sites and rich Web applications such as a download center and product/project galleries that improve client business efficiencies, sales lead generation and data capture capabilities.

Nick Murosky
Fast Tracker of the Year

As a public relations account executive, Nick possesses the work ethic, maturity, and ability to manage clients comparable to that of someone with at least twice his experience. Throughout the past year, Nick’s responsibilities have broadened to accommodate increasing client and departmental demands, making him a deserving nominee in the Fast Tracker category.

Lauren Ban
Public Relations Practitioner of the Year

Director of Public Relations Lauren Ban doesn’t limit herself to the title on her business card – she gets involved in every aspect of the agency. She acts as the driving force behind the PR department, contributing ideas for every client, developing new business strategies and constantly working to implement and improve agency procedures.

The winners will be announced during the Annual BMA BizMark Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 14, at Heinz Field.
